Core Return Policy & Procedure
All of our cooling units are sold on an exchange basis. This simply means, we get the old cooling unit back in exchange for the cooling unit we are sending you. We take responsibility for the return freight, all that is required of you is to package the old unit so we can have FedEx or UPS come by and pick-up the old unit. we will also refund your order $150 when the core is received.
Returning your old core is very simple: here’s how to get it done in a very simple manner :
- Place your old unit in the same box that the new unit arrived in. Use the same packaging inside to protect unit from getting damaged.
- Carefully tape the box well and ensure everything is properly placed so it will not come open in transit.
- Place the prepaid return label on the box, then ensure you keep the top copy for your records.
- Call FedEx or UPS and schedule a pickup, then set box outside for pick-up.
- With the prepaid label, you can also drop the package at any FedEx or UPS location.
- RV Cooling Guy will activate your warranty immediately after the core is received.
- We advise you to ensure your core is returned within thirty days (30 days) of receiving your new cooling unit.
No Core Return, No Warranty
we do not activate your warranty until we receive your core. Our re-emerging business relies on a steady and constant supplies of core returns so we can supply more customers, just like you, with replacement of cooling units. So, we send you a cooling unit in “good faith” that we will receive your old unit back. It is all for you, our customers!
We advised that you contact us within two weeks (14 days) to schedule a pick-up of your core.
After 30 days (and several attempts) if we are unable to get the core back, RV Cooling Guy reserves the right to void the warranty on your new cooling unit
The warranty obligations of RV Cooling Guy Cooling units (also referred to as, “RV Cooling Units” for the gas absorption refrigeration units (“products”) sold on or through youngfartsrvparts.ca website are limited to the terms set forth below. (This warranty policy shall only apply to the products that have been purchased from this website).
ATTENTION:
- Any mentioning of “product(s)”, “item(s)” or “good(s)” in this warranty policy shall mean the products bought from the website(s)
- Mentioning terms such as “you”, “customer” and “purchaser” shall mean the person who has originally bought the product(s) from RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair.
- The initial leak and issues detection shall be done by the customer as per our ‘Detection Policy’ before claiming the warranty.
- RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair reserves the right to decide the general rules about this Shipping Policy. Normally, the Warranty Policy shall be applicable after the return of the old cores however, the applicability of the policy is subject to old stocks, shipping and freight charges and other factors.
c.1. Note: For core returns, RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair will send a pre-paid shipping label. This shipping label can only be used for the purpose of the return of your old core(s) for a core charge. For general returns and refunds make sure to read our Refund and Return Policy.
WARRANTY POLICY COVERAGE:
This warranty covers the manufacturing and mechanical defects caused due to any inherent issue of the unit.
HOW LONG DOES THE WARRANTY COVERAGE LAST?- The standard warranty for the product is (1) year. For the purpose of this policy, the warranty period shall commence from the date and time the product is bought from RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair.
- For the first 30 days, RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair will be responsible for the shipping charges under this Warranty Policy. After the initial 30 days have passed, it would be up to the customer to pay the round shipping (both to and from) his/her address to RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair and back to his/her address.
CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH WARRANTY IS NOT COVERED
This warranty policy is not covered in the following instances:
- Improper Installation or Repair: Installation must be preformed by a certified RV Technician, For any warranty claims a receipt from the RV tech must be presented. For any questions about
- Poor Ventilation: In order to provide efficient ventilation, all vents must be completely free of obstructions that prevent airflow from exiting the condenser. In addition, all vent fans must be fully functional.
- Incorrect Operation: Any incorrect or improper operation may void your two-year warranty. These instances include but are not limited to running the unit out of level, applying a heat source not specified within the original specifications or instructions, etc.
- Any Alterations, Drilling, or Screwing Into The Cooling Unit: The cooling unit cannot be altered in any way or method, whatsoever. Failure to comply could result in a forfeiture of your two-year warranty.
- Operating Unit In Extreme Cold Temperatures: If you choose to operate your unit in extreme cold without a cold-weather kit, you may forfeit your two-year warranty. Units should not be operated at a temperature below 20 degrees. In addition and without limiting any other exclusion herein, we do not warrant that the product covered hereby, including, without limitation, the technology included in the product, will not become obsolete or that such items are or will remain compatible with any other product or technology with which the product may be used.
WHO IS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
- The original purchaser of the units who has bought the product(s) from RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair is covered under this warranty.
- This warranty is not transferable to the subsequent purchaser or owners of the product or the vehicle.
WHAT RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair WILL DO TO COMPLY WITH THE WARRANTY POLICY?
RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair will at its sole option, provide one of the following solutions to whatever extent it shall deem necessary to satisfy a proper claim under this warranty.
- Fix the issue that occurred in the unit.
- Replace the defective unit with a direct replacement or with a similar product deemed by us to perform substantially the same function as the original product.
- Shipping costs after 30 days shall be the responsibility of the customer.
HOW TO CLAIM A WARRANTY UNDER THIS POLICY?
To obtain a warranty under this warranty policy, you must contact us either through our e-mail at youngfartsonlineorder@gmail.com
- You need to provide us with proof by showing us the videos and/or images of the defective product and explaining to us what is the defect or the problem in the product. You can do so by sending us the images and the videos to our email.
- In addition to providing the video and photographic proof and before shipping the unit back to RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair, you will need to include the receipt of work being done by a certified RV Tech
- We will assess the photographic or video proof of the defective product and based on our observation we’ll do one of the following things.
- If in our opinion if the defect is not a manufacturing defect or it has been caused by any of the conditions listed above in section 3 of the warranty policy, we will reject any request for the warranty claim.
- If it turns out to be a valid defect, we will proceed in accordance with section 5 of this Warranty Policy.
- The whole process may take up to 21 working days.
- In case we cannot fix it we will replace it with a similar or equally valued product which might take up to 30+ days depending on the availability of the newer units.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The maximum liability of our company under this warranty shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid for the gas absorption refrigeration unit. For the purpose of liability RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair, its CEO, owner, staff, affiliates, and any other verified representatives are not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory. Some states or regions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of relief, special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or the limitation of liability to specified amounts however to the extent of this policy the above limitations or exclusions apply to you whatever the case may be.
RELEASE OF CLAIMS
All customers agree that they will fully and completely hold harmless, indemnify and release Young Farts RV Parts & RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair and their CEO, staff and team members, employees, shareholders, directors, consultants, affiliates, or anyone else affiliated with us from any and all damages, causes of action, liability, suits, allegations, sums of money, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, that customers ever had, now have or will have in the future against RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair, arising from customers’ participation in or in any way related to our products, using of our products, services, website and/or communications even if we were aware in advance of the possibility of any such claim.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- This document contains your entire agreement with us in relation to its subject matter. All prior representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) and agreements are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
- By purchasing or obtaining the products you are deemed to be bound by all the terms in this warranty policy. This extends to anyone who is claiming or will claim a warranty.
- The warranty policy is subject to the rules and terms set by RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair. It can be changed, deleted, or amended at any time without any warning.
- The final decision for all warranty-related matters rests upon RV Cooling Guy Refrigeration Repair.
- Our Warranty may only be varied or extended in writing. Any variations must be approved in writing by our Technical Services Department in order to become binding on us.
- If any term of our warranty is illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms will not be affected or impaired.
